KHSX is a community based radio station in the Pleasantville community of Houston, TX. We are designed to strengthen community ties and build civic engagement. KHSX radio will cover news and events that does not get enough airtime at bigger outlets, such as local elections, school board meetings, the environment, and neighborhood activities and events. Keeping the community involved helps to ensure that the station stays relevant and meets local needs. KHSX is a transformative concept which is designed to help bring positive change to its community service area. KHSX is Affordable, Local, and Participatory.
